Not great for vibrant coloured macarons

The blue comes out blue/green. If you are looking for pastel shades then these are fine. You need to use quite a lot of colouring. I made one batch of macaron and used half a bottle to get a duck egg blue colour. By the time is mixed in the colour my mix was too slack. The colour faded in the oven so they went in the bin.

As we point out in the description, natural colours are affected to variable degrees by heat. They will never be as vivid as artificial colours.
