Do you remember Burdalls Gravy Salt?
We had so many requests for Burdalls Gravy Salt in our delicatessen when it ceased that Uncle Roy decided to revive it - but with a coarser texture using the finest sea salt to resist caking.
Directions: Add a heaped teaspoon to your roasting juices halfway through cooking. Remove your meat when done, add a tablespoon of flour, 500ml water (or boiled potato water if your doing spuds) and simmer until thickened.
Tip: Add a dollop of Cranberry sauce for roast poultry gravy or Brown Sauce for Beef gravy for a rounded flavour
