The Tiger Nut is a tuber grown prnicipally in Iberia and is used to produce Horchata by grinding up the nuts to produce a milk. Also known as Chufa the Tiger Nut is said to be the first cultivated crop and has been found in the Pyramids. Commonly chewed dry they are aslo nice(r) soaked in water when they resemble Hazel Nuts.
