Mustard Oils

Mustard Oil has been around for years, but you may not have heard of it for very good reasons..... Until now all Mustard Oil sold in Europe has been illegal!! In Law it is illegal to sell mustard oil with an Erucic Acid level of more than 5% but as mustard oil typically has 20-25% Erucic Acid this means that all Mustard Oil sold in Europe has had to be marked "FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY". That doesn't mean a lot has not been used in Asian Cookery but it does mean that it has been illegal - until now. Why use Mustard Oil then? - I hear you ask..... Well........ It has the lowest Saturated Fat content of all the edible oils on sale !!!..... It has superb flavour - after all we won a GOLD GREAT TASTE AWARD with it !!!.... It is Kosher !!..... GMO-free!!..... Cold Pressed !!..... It has a very high smoke point !! (SIMILAR TO PEANUT OIL)..... It is suitable for high temperature frying !!..... It is good for dipping !!..... It is good for baking !!..... It has a superb Omega 3, 6, 9 ratio.... It makes amazing dressings - after all I won another GREAT TASTE AWARD with my "ONE & ONLY" Dressing !!!!
